Effective date: July 7, 2026. These Terms are a starting template and should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before launch. Items in brackets need to be confirmed by Virtually There Teaching.
Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Virtually There Teaching website and video lessons (the “Service”). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service
Virtually There Teaching provides on-demand AP and Honors Chemistry video lessons and related educational materials for personal, non-commercial use. We may add, change, or remove content and features over time.
Accounts and Eligibility
You must provide accurate information when you register and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the permission and involvement of a parent or guardian. [Confirm the minimum age and any parental consent requirements.]
Subscriptions, Billing, and Renewals
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (for example monthly or annually) or as a one-time purchase, depending on the plan you select. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method on each renewal date until you cancel. Prices are shown at checkout and may change with notice for future billing periods.
Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account. When you cancel, you will retain access through the end of your current paid period, and your subscription will not renew after that. [Insert your refund policy here, for example whether payments are non-refundable except where required by law, and any satisfaction guarantee.]
License and Acceptable Use
We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access the lessons for your own educational use. You may not copy, download (except where a download feature is offered), record, share, resell, publicly display, or redistribute any part of the Service. You may not share your account, use the Service to build a competing product, or attempt to bypass access controls or security.
Intellectual Property
All lessons, videos, text, graphics, and other materials in the Service are owned by Virtually There Teaching or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any content to you.
Educational Disclaimer
Our lessons are educational resources intended to support your learning. We do not guarantee any particular exam score, grade, or academic outcome. Results depend on many factors outside our control.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Virtually There Teaching will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. [Consider a liability cap, for example the amount you paid in the prior twelve months.]
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time by canceling your subscription and closing your account.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless otherwise required by law. [Confirm venue and whether you want an arbitration clause.]
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
